Programs
for Adults
For
an adult presentation or workshop with no art experiences included
but a fairly long Q&A in the local Connecticut area, the charge
would be $375 per session, plus expenses.
For an adult lecture out-of-state, the cost would be a little more,
depending on location. Also, for out of state appearances requiring
a flight, she would need to do a minimum of three programs (1 adult
workshop and 2 workshops for children would be preferred).
For large conferences where she would do a presentation and a visual
literacy workshop or two presentations, the charge would be $625
to $1,250, depending on location and other relevant factors, plus
expenses. These rates may be negotiable.

Sheila
Wartel at the Southern Connecticut Library Council recommended Nancy
since the kindergarten author had canceled at the last minute. I
simply cannot praise Nancy enough. A terrific person and wonderful
with the children, Nancy is very talented! Children respond to her
with enthusiasm. She engages them the moment she starts. Her presentations
are superb; she reads and does a variety of activities. She was
so good, we asked her to return for the Middlebrook Author Day for
the next five years! Any school would be happy (and lucky) to have
her.

Nancy
is a very spirited and energetic
educator. She designed her lessons to meet the needs of our writing
curriculum and was able to motivate each and every student in our
first and second grade class to believe in themselves as artists
and writers. The concepts that Nancy brought to our classrooms made
a lasting impression on our students as well as our teachers.

Nancy
shows young children the excitement
of coming up with an idea and bringing it to fruition in a beautiful
book. She is a wonderful speaker and connects beautifully with the
children. I have gotten raves from students, staff and parents about
Nancy 's program and I recommend her highly to other schools. She
models for all of us the deep human connection through her characters,
stories and awesome cut- out illustrations.
