Johanna Reiss's Presentations

Grade Levels:
Ms. Reiss's books are for grades 6-8, but she can talk to older children and adults as well.

Program Content:
She talks about her life as a child in the Netherlands, and how she lived with a Gentile family during the Holocaust, and how her experiences shaped her life and her books.  Students must have read The Upstairs Room before her arrival to make sure they get the most out of her presentations.

Ms. Reiss brings artifacts from the time period with her.  A slide presentation is also available upon request.  If requested, please have a slide projector on hand, as well as a room that can be darkened.

Program Length:
Ms. Reiss can do a maximum of 3 presentations per day of 45-60 minutes each, plus as much time as is needed for book-signings.

Honorarium:

Ms. Reiss's honorarium is due by the end of the last day of the appearance.
