PROGRAMS

Lizabeth Zindel's presentations vary depending on the needs of the audience. In general, she discusses her books, her writing process and how she comes up with ideas, and her background. Her programs are usually about 60 minutes, including Q&A.

AUDIENCE

Ms. Zindel can speak to students from grades 7 up to high school and beyond. She's also available to speak to adults, including teachers and librarians, and is available for conferences.

NUMBER OF PRESENTATIONS PER DAY AND GROUP SIZE

Ms. Zindel can do up to four presentations per day to any size audience. For school visits, please group students by grade levels. When more than one grade level makes up the audience, please group grade levels as close in age as possible. 

EQUIPMENT NEEDED

For large audiences, please provide a microphone. Also have the following items handy for presentations to any size audience: drinking water, chair and table, a room that can be darkened, and equipment for a PowerPoint presentation.

HONORARIUM

Ms. Zindel's per-day honorarium is $1,000 for four programs, $800 for three programs, and $600 for two programs, plus expenses (travel to/from her home in New York City, hotel, meals.) Discounts may be available for schools and libraries in the New York City area. Her set fees may be open to negotiation depending on location, etc.

Her honorarium should be presented to her at the end of the last session on the last day of the visit unless otherwise arranged.
